Who is ATEP?

Apprenticeship and Traineeship Employment Partners (ATEP)

is a well established community based organisation located in metropolitan Melbourne.

ATEP have been employing apprentices and trainees since 1987 and has a proud history of providing quality employer services and creating career pathway opportunities through employment and training in the community.

The ATEP daily service delivery is delivered by a group of professional effective friendly staff, overseen by an experienced management and governed by a Board of Directors made up of voluntary community focused individuals from extensive business and industry backgrounds.

ATEP is a nationally recognised quality endorsed Group Training Organisation meeting the national standards associated with the delivery of high level customer service and ethical good business practices.

Apprentices and Trainees employed by ATEP can gain experience in a variety of workplaces throughout the training period or have one placement for the entire duration of the qualification. The ATEP employment model has been tested and statistically proven to increase the likelihood of successfully completing an Australian Apprenticeship (apprenticeship or traineeship).

Earn while you Learn!

An Australian Apprenticeship (apprenticeship or traineeship) can be undertaken on a full time or part time basis and can be used as a valuable stepping stone to start a career in an industry you want to work in. If you are employed as an apprentice or trainee, you will combine work for your employer with structured, off-the-job training organised through a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and receive a nationally recognised qualification.

Who can become an ATEP Apprentice or Trainee?

Australian Apprenticeships (apprenticeship or traineeship) are not just for students leaving school. They are suitable for Victorians of all ages who are interested in jobs that have career prospects in particular industries. They are available in all most every industry and many different vocations within each industry. ATEP apprenticeship and traineeship job vacancies are available to all individuals looking for work. As a GTO our service delivery is particularly effective in assisting with the transition of young people from secondary school or other pre employment programs to work.

Once you complete an Australian Apprenticeship you will become a nationally qualified and highly skilled person in your industry of choice. Ultimately becoming more employable and higher paid by holding a qualification that the industry recognises throughout Australia.
