Plunge In - We offer Australian School based Apprenticeships (ASbA)
Reece and Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd have developed an Australian School based Apprenticeship Program (ASbA)
offering exciting employment, training and career opportunities for students during Years 11 & 12.
This national program, which is also promoted and supported by State and Commonwealth Governments, provides the opportunity
for students to combine their studies with part time work at local Reece stores.
Students will receive on the job training, credits towards their school certificate in their residing state, and a head start on their career!
They will earn while they learn, being paid above the award rate.
Instead of 5 days at school, students will be released from school 1 day a week to attend work, as well as working Saturdays.
Plus there is an opportunity to earn more by working during school holidays. At the successfully completion of the course,
students will obtain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate II in Transport & Distribution (Warehousing & Storage)
as well as the opportunity for a full time position with Reece, which may launch their career! And if the student wants to
go to university, they can still work part time at Reece during their studies.
