NorthWestern Mental Health is the largest public mental health service in Victoria.

Our team of over 1,700 staff deliver a comprehensive range of hospital-based, community and specialist mental health services to young people, adults and the elderly with serious mental illness.

We have a strong multidisciplinary workforce primarily comprised of the disciplines of medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, clinical psychology and social work.

Consumer and carer consultants are employed to provide advice and input to the quality of care provided to people with mental illness and their families. They are routinely involved in staff selection processes and strategic developments.
