Our client located in the Eastern Suburbs, is a leading transport company that continues to expand this family business with outstanding customer service, coupled with advanced technology. They are currently seeking an Operations / Logistics Coordinator to coordinate the scheduling of their fleet of vehicles (approx 115).
This is a Monday – Friday full time position, with occasional on call ????? ????? (after hours & weekends), so you must be flexible for varied hours.
Your role will include:
• Maintaining a log of scheduled runs
• Liaising daily with various external parties including
Education / Government
• General day to day operations
• Organising run sheets
• Update and maintain customer information
• Regularly participating on vehicle runs
To be successful you will:
• Have experience in a similar Operations / Fleet Scheduling /
Logistics role
• Initiate improved efficiencies
• Thrive in an extremely fast paced, busy role
• Be highly organised and self motivated
• Possess excellent communication / people skills
• Have very strong computer skills / enjoy technology including
advanced mapping systems
• Participate in monthly management meetings
• Pass a working with children and police check
• Be prepared to further your studies in the relevant field
