We are seeking a Gas Drainage & Ventilation Specialist to take a senior position within this exciting business. This reputable company provides a range of consulting to services to the global mining industry. With a strong reputation behind them this company is already a major player and due to further growth & succession planning are looking for a dedicated & motivated professional to take a senior position within their team.
Position Purpose:
This position will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the provision of mine gas emission and gas management consulting services to clients within the Australian coal mining industry. This role is accountable for:
- Cost estimating & project scoping
- Management of projects
- Providing technical consulting services
- Evaluating systems and practices and seeking opportunities for improvement & business development
- Managing the resources to provide an effective service to clients
Position Requirements:
This role requires someone that has an in-depth knowledge of technical and operational issues regarding gas drainage & ventilation. Specific skills, experience and qualifications required include:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Commercial nous
- A solid understanding of gas & ventilation in an underground coal mining environment
