Finance and Administration Manager

The National Centre Management Team Centre Management look after the day to day management of our centres to optimise the operating performance of each centre. The Centre Management team take a close and active role in dealing with all facets of retailing to ensure customers want to come back, retailers are trading successfully and the centre is profitable. The Opportunity Reporting to the Centre Manager, this busy and challenging role is responsible for providing financial management and administrative support to the Centre Management team. Managing a small team, this role requires an individual with strong finance acumen and knowledge, good organisational and administrative skills, along with proven leadership abilities. Responsibilities include: - Overall management of the centre finance and administrative functions
- Review, monitor and analyse centre P&L activity
- Co-ordinate and compile centre budget and re-forecast
- Produce monthly management reports
- Effectively manage, lead and develop the administration team
- Liaise with Head Office regarding all HR and Payroll matters for centre personnel
- Work collaboratively with other functional Managers to ensure operational efficency of the centre
- Act as duty manager (rotational basis)
Professional Skills & Knowledge To be considered for this role you will have completed tertiary studies in a business or accounting related discipline and have previous experience in a Finance and Admin or Office Management position. In addition to this you will be IT literate with good organisational and analytical skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You are a highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a fast paced and challenging environment. You enjoy the variety this role offers and can be flexible to accomodate "busy times" where some additional hours may be required. Standard working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm and when acting as Duty Manager you will be required to work the occassional late night Friday and weekend (RDO provided). As a representative of Westfield you will also be issued with a corporate uniform.
