Our client a very large Government Department is seeking a Senior Architect with Concept & Documentation experience and who have been responsible for projects in excess of $50m & $100m. The duration of these projects is between 3 to 6 months.

 

Experience required for these roles:

• Locally Registered Architect
• Good design skills
• Strong documentation skills - which includes checking and coordinating client briefs and requirements
• Good skills in coordinating a documentation team in relation to architectural and services drawings
• Sound experience in Specification writing
• Strong 3D graphics experience - preferably using skechup
• Experience in sustainable design aspects
• Good Microsoft Word skills
• Strong command of the English language - verbal and written
• Experience in documenting buildings with a science & research slant
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Strong Knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards
• Presentation portfiolio required when attending interview

  

Scope of the role:

• Liaising with different client groups to understand and document their brief and provide a return brief for their confirmation
• Relevant experience in science orientated projects would be beneficial to understand the needs of the proposed project
• This will then progress to leading consultants to provide documentation on a fast track program
