Our client, a market leader within the probiotics industry has a great range of direct-fed microbial products designed to improve feed efficiency and animal health within the dairy industry. They have a great opportunity for an experienced and results focused Sales Person with proven success in business development and account management to join this exciting enterprise.
Reporting to the General Manager Sales, you will be managing the marketing of a specific product range to the dairy industry. You will work from a home office and be out on the road visitng clients. You will work to develop a loyal client base through various sales activities, promoting new products to existing clients and developing a base of new clients through business development initiatives in line with the overall Business Plan. You will organise, run and represent the company at farm days, field days, social occasions and other events in consultation with your manager to promote our product range.
Your sales disciplines will be sound; tracking and reporting of sales data, (lead generation, visits, sales etc), maintaining appropriate client and prospect communication, farm visits and weekly reporting, etc.
You will have outstanding communication skills allowing you to easily build rapport with dairy farmers, strong values, an outstanding customer focus and exceptional follow through. A solid understanding of practical animal nutrition principles in Intensive Agriculture would be ideal.
