Our client, a food company with good brands located in Seven Hills, is currently seeking a mechanical fitter on a casual basis working 40 hours per week.
The key responsibilities of this role are to provide adequate mechanical breakdown and project maintenance and servicing the manufacturing ????? ?????. The goal is an increase in efficiencies, reduction in down-time, improving morale and greater engagement of the workforce. The principle accountabilities include PM, breakdowns, continuous improvement, projects ,general day-to-day work , the spare parts ordering ????? ????? and looking after the workshop,
The new appointee will be a team player who can relate to and lead people from shop-floor level. You will be confident and capable in fulfilling this role, having a high degree of autonomy in decision making.
Trade qualifications in fitting and turning are a minimum requirement with desired skills in restricted electrical licence. You should be experienced in fault finding of packaging equipment, line set ups, routine PM experience and willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
