The National Centre Management Team
 
Centre Management look after the day to day management of our centres to optimise the operating performance of each centre. The Centre Management team take a close and active role in dealing with all facets of retailing to ensure customers want to come back, retailers are trading successfully and the centre is profitable.
  
The Opportunity          
 
An opportunity has arisen for a professional, flexible and reliable person to join the Facilities team. Your role as the Facilities Assistant is to contribute to the day-to-day operation and effective maintenance of the Centre facilities by attending to general maintenance and repair requirements within the Centre. You responsibilities will include:
  • Day to day maintenance of the centre

  • Ensuring the centre and facilities are in working order and are in accordance with the OH & S Policies

  • Working closely with the facilities team to assist with any capital works occurring within the centre

  • Assisting the centre management departments when setting up for events

  • General  administrative duties

  • Creating purchase orders

  • Liaising with external providers, retailers, customers and centre management staff.

Professional Skills & Knowledge
 
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a team and will have strong communication skills and a flexible can do attitude.  Ideally, you will have a maintenance background and be looking to join a stable and friendly team. A trade qualification would be an advantage, particularly electrical or plumbing.
