QC Chemist

 

Contract 3 months with a view to a permanent role

C $42k base salary

Western Sydney location - International Chemical Manufacturer

This ANZ division of a leading international specialty chemical company has an exceptional opportunity for a Chemist to develop their Quality Control experience by training alongside this dedicated and talented team. This company has many of the market leading brands in their field.

Reporting to the Technical Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for a range of QC responsibilities including:

• Receive and log samples of raw materials and finished products
• Management of testing calibration system
• Trial batch manufacture
• Record quality control data, and maintain all work books as prescribed Preparation and dispatch of field test kits requested by the sales team
• Conduct product complaint investigations
• Laboratory activity records
• Provide technical assistance to production, sales and customers as required

This role would provide an excellent opportunity for a graduate in a relevant Science qualification such as Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering ????? ????? have some work experience in a similar environment while studying, or a graduate with 1-2 years experience.
