Shift Supervisors/Leading Hands Needed

 

Our client is Australia leading supplier or waste management and recycling solutions with various transfer stations located throughout Australia. Given a recent increase in activity a number of positions have become available for Shift Supervisors/leading hands at the following transfer stations: Rockdale, Chullora, Artarmon and North Ryde. This will initially start as a casual position with a view to permanent after an initial trial period. Rates of pay will start from $27 - $28 per hour.

Reporting to the Transfer Station Manager the right applicant will be responsible for supervising the day to day running of the Transfer Station. In particular:

• Ensuring ????? ????? or resources on particular recycling lines
• Ensuring ????? ????? are maintained
• Motivating and managing human resources to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
• Maintaining and monitoring ????? ????? and leave
• Proving occasional; support for line workers
• Organising transport
• Providing assistance to the Transfer Station Manager as required

Ideally we would be looking for candidate with the following competencies:

• A proven track record in supervising a transfer station, transport or logistics environment
• Experiencing liaising with both internal and external parties
• A proven track record in displaying effective time management skills
• A thorough understanding of OH & S requirements and reporting
