Currently looking for a distribution centre manager, our client is a large multinational organisation with an instantly recognisable brand all over the world. Due to changes within the organisation, this position has become available within the main distribution centre servicing all of New South Wales.
 
The role has a total of 9 direct reports and 51 indirect being a mixture of full time staff and casuals split over two shifts. You would also have a number of peers with whom you would be working in line with and like them you will be reporting into the Service and Distribution Manager.
 
You will be expected to provide leadership, performance and functional development to your direct reports as well as ensuring ????? ????? can do culture which keeps this leading FMCG business ahead with regards to service delivery.
 
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and flexibility as well as be willing to operate within a 24/7 operation, maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers. Our client is also looking for an individual who can drive results in a time bound and cost focused environment.

Within this role you would have responsibility for 5 regional DC's as well as liaising with all the manufacturing ????? ????? Australia. There will be regularly meetings with sales managers as well as interaction with peers across the operation. Most importantly our client is looking for someone who can lead a team successfully and drive safety.

Succession planning is a major priority for this client and they are looking for individuals with the drive and willingness to succeed.
 
A proven track record of working within an organisation of similar size within a similar position would prove advantageous for all applicants.
