This organisation is a major player within the transport industry with an extensive and diverse set of clients across various industries. We are currently recruiting an experienced and ambitious transport professional to assume responsibility of a client site encompassing all facets of transport, warehousing and finished goods inventory in a manufacturing environment. This role will provide the successful candidate with broad Supply Chain exposure with a recognised industry player.
 
The key performance indicators for success in this role will include the following:
 
·         Safety and Chain of Responsibility
·         Finance, budgeting and P&L
·         Employee management and IR
·         Customer service and account management
·         Warehouse Management / Stock and Inventory
·         Financial and KPI reporting
·         Fleet and transport management
 
To be considered for this role it is essential that all applicants can provide good working examples of all the requirements and have a loyal track record within transport and logistics. In addition to the above it is essential all applicants can provide good working references and a loyal career history. It will be highly regarded if you have worked for a recognised provider of 3PL services.
