It now seeks a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with 2-3 years’ focused litigation experience in District and State Supreme Courts. Ideally you also have experience in wills and estate disputes. You’ve received strong mentoring while assisting a partner or senior lawyer and are now ready to work with a higher level of autonomy. You can demonstrate diverse commercial litigation experience including defamation, professional negligence, breach of contract, banking disputes, insolvency and debt collection.
Reporting to the Litigation Manager your responsibilities will encompass:
- Direct client management
- Forensic commercial investigation
- Interviewing witnesses
- Drafting statements of claim
- Drafting affidavits
- Attending court
- Briefing Barristers
Accurate and detailed, you are well versed in Practice and Procedure Rules and Rules of Evidence. You have well developed commercial acumen and commercial common sense, with the ability and attitude to enhance a team dedicated to excellent client service.
