Our client is going through a period of expansion to build upon their already successful brand in an ever changing economic environment. 

One of Australia's leading commercial banks,  they require a strong Risk and Compliance culture to be able to achieve this in the most prudent way possible.

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to work, predominately within the Life and Superannuation Operations area of this banking group.
 
Including:

• Being a trusted advisor on operational risk and compliance matters
• Supporting and enhancing a risk / reward culture across the business
• implementing risk and compliance frameworks
• liaising with senior management to help imbed the risk culture throughout the entire operations area.

The Candidate:

The following skills would ensure your success in being considered for this role:

• At least 7 years experience in risk management and/or compliance within the financial services industry.
• Proven background in implementing risk frameworks and designing risk controls
• Working knowledge of financial services laws and regulations, in the Life insurance industry.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.  Preferable further specialist qualification.
• Experience working within Risk Management in Big 4 environment would be highly regarded
