The Company

Our client, located in Western Sydney is an Australian owned engineering ????? ????? entity with a successful history spanning over 20 years. Its products are exported globally.

The Role

Due to a renewal in global demand, the company is seeking to appoint an Engineering Project Manager to its Sydney office’s professional and friendly engineering ????? ?????.

Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, you will manage “make to order” mechanical engineering ????? ????? the mining and mineral processing industries.

Duties

Basically the role is to:

ensure client acceptance of the order and delivery plan,

take full responsibility of assigned projects from acceptance through to delivery and installation

process BOM and liaise with procurement, suppliers and engineering ????? ????? to ensure supply to plan

liaise with Purchasing, Production and QA to ensure manufacture is to specifications and plan

liaise with clients and manage client expectations

The Person and Skills

You must be a permanent resident and currently living in Australia.

You must:

have a formal tertiary qualification in Mechanical and or Chemical Engineering,

have a minimum of 3 years Project Engineering ????? ????? Technical Trade background,

be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Project Management process and skills required,

have outstanding written and verbal English communication skills (mandatory),

be adept at reading and interpreting engineering ????? ?????,

be familiar with MS Project or similar software,

have above average computer skills,

be able to demonstrate initiative,

be a highly motivated, enthusiastic and outgoing person,

be a lateral thinker, able to look at the overall picture,

have a mature attitude and a good work ethic,

be motivated by challenge and change,

be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail and be able to anticipate problems before they happen,

have the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, management and clients.
