This continued expansion has led to the newly created position of Tax Accountant.
 
The role will work closely with an experienced Tax Manager and have exposure to all aspects of taxation accounting, compliance and planning across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Key accountabilities in this role include tax administration; reviewing of income tax & fringe benefit tax returns; review of tax effect accounting; and providing tax advice to the stakeholders throughout the business. In addition there is an expectation that this individual will involve themselves in a variety of areas outside of Tax. This will include providing the Finance team with General Ledger support; taking a lead on continuous improvement projects; ensuring ????? ?????-Oxley processes and controls are complied with.

To be successful in this role you will have CA/CPA qualifications or be close to completion and your experience may be from either commerce or chartered. Technical excellence in tax is welcomed but its equal important that someone can operate in a broader, more general finance capacity. An ability to meet demanding deadlines, absolute excellence with regard to communication skills and the ability to grow into a leadership role are all considered must haves.
