Our client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their engineering team. This role will specialise in Electrical Engineering activities for heavy trucks within their product development group.
Key responsibilities:
- Integration and Adaptation of vehicle software to suit specific local demands and configurations.
- Design and packaging of electrical harnesses into heavy vehicles
- Design of new components and systems
- Building of prototypes and project vehicles
- Design review and estimates
- Providing electrical engineering support services
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within heavy vehicle industry or related automotive industry with Vehicle electrical systems
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Proficient in MicroSoft Office (PRO-E Design experience would be an advantage)
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
