A unique opportunity exists for an outstanding Mechanical Fitter/Operator with this well known manufacturer of household, health & personal care products.
The position available is for night shift only 11pm - 7am Monday to Friday.
Based in Sydney's western suburbs you will operate a production line, supported by other production opeartors and also have responsibility for decision making, safety, quality, maintenance and changeovers. You will be involved in production development of new and existing products & improvement initiatives on the line.
To be successful in this role you will have
- Demonstrable preventative maintenance skills
- Strong problem solving & troubleshooting abilities
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a High Speed Packaging environment
- A proven operational understanding of GMP
- A restricted electrical licence (Ideal)
- Pharmaceutical or Food industry experience will be highly regarded
The successful Fitter/Operator must be willing to assist in all areas of production when required, be proactive and use initiative, be a team player and a strong problem solver.
This will position will initially be a 3 month assignment with view to be ongoing depending on performance.
