Asset Technical Officer - Local Government
Through involvement with current national asset management initiatives, you will take a leading role in the improved performance of corporate wide assets for council. This will include innovative projects to reduce damage and failures in infrastructure and the development of new condition assessment techniques for roads, drainage, pavement, parks and gardens and other assets. You will be required to maintain sytems and an administrative function for Council Asset management Systems. the position will also include management of contractors on site and OH & S resposibilities..
You will be supported by senior engineers and experienced operators on all aspects of infrastructure asset management and will manage consultants and contractors in delivering ????? ????? management services. Your skills in database management, analysis and technical knowledge of asset management will be fully utilised in this role.

Applicants may possess an engineering ????? ????? must have knowledge of asset management and asset management methods and systems within a local government environment would be an advantage. Excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to write concise technical reports would also be beneficial.
