Providing engineering, electronics, and software and systems integration to the Australian Defence Force this organisation is committed to being the leading partner in integrated military systems and support solutions. With more than 60 locations, employing approximately 6500 staff this business supports customers at more than 50 locations across the country.
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing support in the management of all financial aspects of three main project sites being Woomera, Albury-Wondonga and South Queensland. You will provide financial advice to the Operations Manager, manage the financial performance and reporting, establish budgets, provide advice for Tender responses and Business Development cases whilst providing timely and accurate Management Reports.
Supervising a team of three Accountants you will provide relevant support and training and contribute to the development and success of the wider finance function. A small element of travel will be required as well as regular phone contact with the project sites.
This role will ideally suit your ability to operate with a reasonable degree of autonomy therefore your drive for results and your self motivation is paramount. You will be CPA/CA qualified and have substantial management/financial reporting experience to draw from.
