The Auckland construction market still seems to be moving and opportunity is still their for the taking.
We are currently working with an established Auckland interiors company who still seem to be getting work through the door. Therefore they are looking to build and develop their team.
They are now looking to recruit an interiors quantity surveyor / estimator. You will be working on typical fast paced projects throughout Auckland and the central North Island. These projects tend to be retail projects, however they do get involved with other commercial schemes.
This is a position that will be an all round role, you will be pricing projects, meeting clients, running the jobs and finishing off the final accounts. You could also find yourself working on a number of projects at the same time, so your time management and communication skills must be of the highest level.
To be considered for this role, you will need a related qualification and have worked in the construction industry and ideally interiors for the last 2 – 4 years. You will have been exposed to pricing, running your own jobs and pride yourself on getting things done on time and in budget.
