As a result of continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Snr Consultant / Assistant Manager to assist manage our services across the Wangaratta / Ovens region of VIC. Based in Wangaratta you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of cases, assisting with training & development, quality control, business development and day-to-day running of the site.

Duties may include:
- managing a portfolio of claims
- conducting specialised assessments
- performing drug & alcohol testing and consultancy services to employers
- assist to grow the team, including recruitment
- assist to manage the professional team, including quality control and staff training & mentoring
- assist to grow and develop the business in the region
Essential criteria:
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 2 years experience in occupational rehabilitation setting
- Previous experience providing team leading, mentoring, training or quality control
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & report writing skills
- Experience providing services under the VWA workers compensation scheme
- A strong understanding of, and focus on, business & customer needs
- You must be a dynamic, highly motivated self-starter
- A track record of achieving targets and outcomes
- Strong computer literacy
Desirable criteria:
- Understanding of NSW Workers Compensation, Comcare, CTP & Military Compensation schemes
- Return to work coordination
- Business development
- Drug & Alcohol management / testing
- Disability Employment Services
