What are we looking for?
 
We are seeking a full time Business Manager to join our expanding team. This position will lead a small committed team of staff.
 
 
What are the job responsibilities?
 
The Business Manager will have responsibility for Finance and Administrative personnel, and the overall responsibility for UCGNE’s finance and administrative functions. This includes the development, management and review of:
  • accounting, budgeting and financial reporting systems;
  • accountability reports;
  • payroll systems;
  • asset management including vehicles and property;
  • OH&S and WorkCover monitoring ????? ?????;
  • risk management; and
  • information technology systems.
 
What is required?
 
A tertiary qualification in an accounting or business discipline and membership of the Australian Association of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA), or Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), or currently studying towards same. High level financial skills and experience are required, including experience in budget preparation, annual accounts, monitoring, analysis, estimates and projections of financial matters, asset management, risk management, and information technology and communications systems. Considerable experience at an Executive Management level is preferred, especially in the community service sector.

The organisation has been developed around four primary service areas: long term independent accommodation for older people and people with disabilities, day and overnight respite care for older people and adults with disabilities, case management and brokerage services, and pastoral care.

We are a multi-site operation with services in Wangaratta, Mooroopna, Shepparton, Wodonga and Albury. We employ over 55 staff and our administration offices are located in Wangaratta.
