  • Established in 1983, Daracon Group has a proven record of achievement in large-scale RTA, commercial, industrial, infrastructure and civil projects as well as property developments, quarry operations and mining services. Due to ongoing expansion in these areas, we are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team.

    Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you will:

    • Manage and coordinate recruitment, selection and engagement of staff, including full time, temporary and contract staff to meet the organisation’s needs
    • Liaise with Managers to determine current & future recruitment requirements
    • Acknowledge receipt of applications, review for appropriateness and request additional information when required
    • Undertake related administrative tasks including advising unsuccessful applicants and recruitment companies, establishing and maintaining relevant documentation, records & statistics
    • Coordinate and attend interviews
    • Facilitate pre-employment checks including background and reference checks as well as pre-employment health assessments.
    • Attend graduate career days to promote Daracon as an employer of choice
    • Manage supplementary labour including subcontractor IR Compliance
    • Facilitate and deliver the Company’s HR induction processes

    To be successful in this role, you will possess:

    • At least two years experience in a recruitment focused HR role.
    • Knowledge of the construction industry (advantageous
    • Microsoft excel, work, outlook skills
    • Strong administration skills
    • The ability to communicate effectively and promote good people relations
    • High level organisation and accuracy skills
    • The ability to work unsupervised
    • Initiative and be able to handle multiple tasks
    • The ability to liaise with management, supervisors, field and office staff
    • Good written communication
    • Flexible work attitude

     

    Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR/Management are desirable
