RN's required for Rural Hospital

Acute 27 bed country hospital (approx. 2 hrs drive from Adelaide) seeking RN's for permanent and short-term contracts. Ward covers A&E, acute med/surg, midwifery and some paeds med/surg. Midwives allocated on each shift, however general nurses would be expected to provide general care to all patients with midwives to provide specific Midwifery care. A&E is managed out of the ward and some theatre skills would be required also.
This role would suit a general medical/surgical nurse with good all-round experience. The successful candidates would need to be able to manage a workload with limited direction. Short-term contracts would be well suited to travelling nurses looking for a placement of around 3 months duration. Overseas applicants requiring sponsorship are encouraged to apply.
The hospital is part of a cluster health service and there may be opportunity for candidates to rotate around to different sites within the service.
Some relocation assistance will be provided.
The ideal candidate will posses 3 years post-grad experience with solid acute med/surg experience with good all-round experience in other clinical areas. Candidates must hold current SA Nursing registration.
