The School of Dentistry and Health Sciences is a newly established, multi-campus, academic unit. The School offers a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses both onshore and offshore in a range of health disciplines including: Dentistry, Oral Health Therapy, Medical Radiation Science, Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine and Nutrition and Dietetics. The School is committed to enhancing its reputation as a high performing multidisciplinary school and seeks academics focused on providing quality education and being actively involved in a variety of development of health professional education and health based research programs that complement these courses.
As the Technical Officer you will provide technical support to practical classes in the Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Laboratories as well as the Nutrition and Dietetics Laboratories. You will be responsible for the quality control and quality assurance of all equipment within the laboratory and ensure that all regulatory and legislative guidelines that govern these facilities are followed appropriately. Furthermore you will ensure the overall security, safety and management of the laboratories.
