Our client is a world leading engineering and development consultancy who are part of a major Alliance based in Wagga in southern NSW. This group is securely backed with healthy long term projects, a strong client base and a stable team supported by senior management.  

They are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager for the road Alliance project. 

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be an integral part of the Alliance Management team and will be responsible for the overall Environmental performance and compliance of this multimillion dollar project. You will be responsible for: 

          Organisation and oversight of all environmental management activities to implement the Alliance Environment management plan and achieve relevant Alliance KPI targets 

          Liaison with regulatory and planning authorities in NSW 

          Conducting Environmental training and liaising with community representatives 

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of planning and carrying out environmental management for infrastructure (preferably road) construction projects. You will possess strong knowledge in regulatory and planning frameworks for infrastructure projects and have experience in negotiating and interacting with authorities in NSW. As a member of the Alliance Management team, you will obviously have people management skills, and be adept in delivering requirements to time and budget constraints. You will possess appropriate tertiary engineering or Environmental qualifications and be able to thrive in a multi-disciplinary construction environment.
