The School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences provides undergraduate courses in Animal Science, Equine Science and Veterinary Science, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Captive Vertebrate Management. The School has substantial infrastructure of a very high standard for training veterinary undergraduates, including a Pre-Clinical Centre, a Veterinary Clinical Centre and Equine Centre, a Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and a Small Animal Clinic.
The School is currently seeking a competent, motivated veterinarian to assist with the teaching of ruminant health, including cattle internal medicine, preventive and production medicine, within our undergraduate veterinary science programs. Duties will include development and conduct of on-farm clinical teaching and resident supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a strong applied research program, which attracts external funding as well as incorporates post-graduate training.
