  • The Division of Library Services is an integral partner in the University’s teaching, learning and research through excellence in the provision of innovative library services, accessible anywhere, anytime – “Library without walls”

    The Information and Liaison Services team provides research and reference advice to the University community and develops services which assist clients to become self sufficient in finding and using information. It uses physical and virtual delivery systems. It develops the Web site and is responsible for library publications in all formats. It has consistent Division-wide policies and practices, with necessary face-to-face services delivered on each Campus and other services delivered centrally.

    The Coordinator Information Literacy is responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of the Library’s information literacy training programme initiatives for all clients including CSU students (on campus, DE and offshore), academic and general staff, and researchers. The incumbent ensures the quality, scalability and consistency of the Library’s information literacy activities. This position works collaboratively with the Division of Learning and Teaching Services and the Division of Student Services on the consistent delivery of academic literacies across the curricula. The position is responsible for the pedagogical content of the Library’s information literacy tools and programs in close consultation with Educational Designers in the Division of Learning and Teaching Services and with academic staff.
