This is a great opportunity to join Australia’s largest privately owned steel distribution company.  Southern Queensland Steel supplies steel to all end users including general and structural engineers, truck body builders, component manufacturers and DIY markets.

In this role you will be liaising with customers and suppliers, completing telephone sales, preparing quotations and processing orders.  This role requires excellent communication skills to be used when dealing with both internal and external customers of Southern Queensland Steel’s sales department.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

• Knowledge of steel products, especially plate products and plate profiling essential
• Demonstrate strong experience in plate estimating
• Demonstrate previous sales experience
• Have experience in engaging and building strong business relationships
• Have the ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate strong computer literacy skills
