Hays Healthcare, the UK's largest specialist recruitment consultancy is working in partnership with Royal Brompton & Harefield Foundation NHS Trust, the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe to recruit Paediatric Nurses for their Brompton hospital in Chelsea, London.

They are recruiting for their 10 bedded Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. Beds are used flexibly to accommodate PICU and PHDU patients so the number of patients vary. The hospital also has a 24 bed ward area that cares for PHDU and day care patients.

Nurses interested in this job will need to demonstrate competence or the ability to care for high dependency cardio thoracic patients with complex needs i.e. non-invasive ventilation, tracheotomy's and low dose inotropes.

All nurse staff will benefit from subsidised childcare facilities, occupational pension scheme, personal development and training opportunities, flexible working and subsidised accommodation is available. In addition nurse staff within Paediatrics will benefit from leave and financial support for national and international conferences as well as study days in order to enable nurses to maintain their registration
