The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a number of the following;

• Teaching or training for teaching in the secondary phase
• Ability to establish credibility with colleagues, students and parents
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Flexibility to work with innovation and change at all levels

The school opened in September 2006 as a Fresh Start school and in this short time has moved forward dramatically. The school has witnessed a significant improvement in results at GCSE, one of the Most Improved Schools in the country and was subject to a successful OFSTED inspection in July 2009.
