Our client is one of the world’s leading international forwarders offering ????? ????? end logistics solutions for their clientele. Represented in 88 countries, they can be considered a significant player on a global scale.
Due to a phase of exciting growth within the company, an opportunity has arisen for a successful Business Development Executive to join their Melbourne team. They are seeking the services of a candidate who has had significant experience working in the International Freight Forwarding industry, who has a strong grasp on Import and Export Operations, and who has the passion and drive to hunt down new business opportunities.
You, as the successful applicant, will have to demonstrate the following abilities:
- Have had at least 5 years combined Operations / Sales experience in an International Freight Forwarding capacity
- Be able to work autonomously and meet targets set by management
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Implementation of new accounts and ability to relay client requirements effectively to operations staff
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Account Management of new and existing business
You will be afforded with all the tools required to be successful including laptop and mobile phone. This company will provide you with support, direction and most importantly a specific target market that will ensure you meet and exceed the expectations.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
