Based in Townsville, our client is a Specialist Engineering and Natural Resource Management Consultancy providing Environmental Services predominantly to the North Queensland Mining sector.

These services are primarily involved in the design and re-design of Natural Waterway Diversions, resulting from interruption by open-cut mining. The sites for which, being located mostly in the Central Queensland Coal and North West Queensland Metalliferous regions.

This thriving consultancy is now seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the Townville Engineering Manager, taking over the project management of several current and upcoming projects.

This role will suit a highly technical candidate from a Civil or Environmental Engineering Background with key skills in design for bulk earthworks and with high degree of competency using software packages 12D and HEC-RAS.

Throughout the project lifecycle you will attend site for initial assessment, requiring strong Client Interface and Communication Skills, delegate to and oversee between 2-4 staff from graduate to 5yrs experience during the design and modelling process, and perform the Superintendents and Contracts Admin role ensuring the construction process adheres to design.

Salary packaging will be commensurate with experience, ranging from $80 - $120,000p/a + Super. Assistance with relocation is also available on an as negotiated basis, in addition, long term opportunities exists through Profit Sharing Options.
