This prominent North Queensland training provider is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to be part of their Townsville operation. Being a workplace with a progressive approach to attracting staff, developing careers and retaining talent this is an exciting opportunity not to be missed.
Supporting the Finance Manager your duties will include; - Accounts payable, accounts receivable
- Payroll
- Debtor Invoice run
- Bank reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end procedures
- Producing financial reports
- BAS returns, PAYG compliance
- Maintaining the General Ledger
- Maintaining company chequebooks and credit card accounts
- Assisting the company accountant with other projects
- Reconciling balance sheets
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work in a small team and communicate effectively
- Have sound experience using MYOB, MS Excel and other accounting systems
