Currently we are looking for an experienced Human Resource Advisor to join one of the world's leading mining and resourcing companies based in Far North Queensland. My client is offering ????? ?????, job security and a highly competitive salary. The Human Resource Advisor's position is a critical role for the company, located on site with a very attractive FIFO roster.
The successful candidate must be located in beautiful Townsville, the capital of North Queensland. With year round sunshine, the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest on your door step. Townsville is definitely the place to raise a family and enjoy a relaxing work/life balance.
The purpose of this position is to provide customer service, advise and support in all areas of Human resources to both internal and external customers.
Your key responsibilities will be but not limited to the following
* Providing support and assistance in all generalist areas of Human Resource Management, using contemporary practises that focus on providing outstanding customer service.
* Provide HRIS training and support for the HR team and employees
* Build asset relationships through regular contact to track issues, upcoming projects and input to planning activities across all functional areas of the Human Resource Department
* Advise management and employees on remuneration, benefits and employment conditions.
To be successful within this role, you must have a previously worked as a Human Resources professional from either the mining or heavy goods sector. You must have a working knowledge of HR Information Systems as this is a large part of the position. Superior customer service and strong communication skills are essential for this hands on role.
