Our client is the sole provider of holistic clinical, preventative and public health services to mostly aboriginal clients within the Katherine West region.
There is nine fully equipped Health Centre’s in communities of different sizes and are serviced by a team of resident health professionals and visiting specialists, allied health professionals, community development and public health personnel.
At present, a position exists for a Health Centre Coordinator to work on a permanent basis in one of the nine health centre’s located 5 hours south west of Katherine in the Northern Territory. This centre operates a range of health programs and has a visiting Doctor that comes twice weekly.
The Health Centre Coordinator will be part of the health leadership team and provide clinical care, mentorship and participate in the on-call ????? ?????.
In addition, the incumbent will be required to coordinate primary health care services, visiting services, acute care, and emergency and after hour’s health services.
To be successful you will be required to show commitment to the integration of primary health care services and promote a safe and positive working environment.
