An opportunity like this does not come along every day, a position as a Sales Rep is live now for an immediate start. Based in Toowoomba and covering ????? ????? territory, the main focus of this position will be to manage key accounts and grow revenue by promoting a range of products which include roofing and walling, rainwater goods, fencing, decking and framing sections. You will also be required to anticipate the market requirements and work with the respective functional personnel to achieve market leadership.
POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop positive relationships with customers and team members.
- Add value to customers’ businesses through the understanding of their business objectives, strategies and goals.
- Work with the Sales Team to achieve business targets and outcomes in addition to contributing to strategy development and execution as applicable.
- Work with the National Sales Team in a proactive manner to create and develop opportunities and solve problems or issues.
- Work to a call ????? ????? your territory calling on contractors and distributors as well as the general public when required.
- Engage with the Sales Manager in a proactive manner so to ensure congruency and consistency in delivery of agreed outcomes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- The ideal candidate will come from the roofing industry with external sales experience and a proven track record.
- If you are a roof fixer looking to get off the tools with a winning personality you should apply.
- Sales experience with any building related products to distributors such as hardware chains will be considered desirable.
- Sales experience within the steel industry will be highly regarded.
- Contacts within the building/roofing industry will be a big plus.
- Good personal presentation and communication skills.
- Computer literate and a clean drivers licence.
- Hard working, honest and a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration package which will consist of a base salary between $50K and $60K plus super depending upon experience. In addition there is a lucrative bonus scheme in place which will reward effort and performance. Also included in the package is a fully maintained company vehicle, laptop and phone.
