Due to the recent expansion of the Engineering department at a well established consultancy within the Toowoomba region, an opportunity for a experienced Civil Design Engineer has become available.
Your role will include the detailed design, quantity and cost estimation of a variety of projects within the region. This role will require you to lead and supervise subordinate technical staff in the department. Road and bridge experience will also be advantageous to your application.
The ideal applicant will possess:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- A strong problem solving approach
- 5+ years experience in Civil Engineering design, construction and surveying
- A comprehensive understanding of computer aided design and drafting software
The rate offered for this position is between the range of $35-50 p/h, however this will be negotiable to anyone who displays exceptional experience in the field.
