We are seeking a person to join the agricultural engineering ????? ?????. In this role you will work on projects and activities to improve the profitability and sustainability of Queensland’s Primary Industries (QPIF). You will work with QPIF research professionals, producers and staff from other organisations.
The key duties required of this job are:
- Contributing to the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of electronic technologies for agricultural research and development in Queensland and throughout Australia.
- Working with equipment suppliers, manufacturers and other industry players to foster relationships and to further develop electronic technologies to meet project outcomes and the needs of agricultural industries to increase adoption and improve profitably and sustainably of Australian agriculture.
- Involvement in the design of electronic control and monitoring ????? ????? enable remote access to fumigation levels in silos via telemetry and web based systems.
- Involvement in the design of electronic equipment to enable land based and aerial systems for the collection of airborne disease spores relating to field and horticultural crops.
