This firm is one of Queensland's largest power generation asset owners, with an established project portfolio of coal fired power plants. To continue the successful operations and management of one of their most significant power plants, they are seeking
Electrical Technicians to join their team.
The main responsibilities of this role will be to assist in the maintenance and breakdown work of auxiliary plant services, focussing specifically on the instrumentation and control for ash and dust handling, water treatment, pipelines, and HVAC systems.
You will ideally demonstrate experience in the following areas to be successful for short-listing:
- Electrical Fitter Mechanic trade qualifications with an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or currently completing)
- Experience in industrial computer based plant control systems, including SCADA and PLCs
- Working closely with the site engineering ????? ????? the investigations, re-engineering ????? ????? work on complex plant and systems
- Previous experience working on a power generation plant
Based on site in the South Burnett region, you will join a small, multi-disciplinary team environment and have the opportunity to develop your skills in industrial instrumentation. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of a 9 day fortnight as well as travel and site allowances.
