In this critical role the Longwall Superintendent will be Reporting to the Production Manager and will be responsible for achieving production targets whilst maintaining exemplary safety standards. Specific duties of the Longwall Superintendent include:

 

• Achieving annual production targets
• Achieving the annual longwall production budget set for the year
• Reviewing the mining rates and effectiveness of the mining process to develop and implement improved methods of work
• Drive compliance with the Oaky No1 safety management system
• Regularly review actuals v cost budget
• Development of departmental budgets
• Liaising with senior management
• Developing & implementing continuous improvement initiatives
