Director of English
Full-time, commencing January 2010
The Director of English is responsible for the operation of the English faculty with a staff of 8 teachers.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate (criteria):
- High levels of classroom competence
- Knowledge of NSW 7-12 curriculum in English
- Experience in teaching HSC English to Extension 2 essential
- Experience in teaching HSC History (Modern and/or Ancient) essential
- Demonstrated ability to direct, mentor and supervise faculty staff
- Demonstrated ability to implement curriculum development
- Demonstrated ability to manage the faculty budget
- Must be highly organised with good time management skills
- Ability to work in a team and relate to parents
- Willingness to support the Anglican ethos of Lindisfarne
English/History Teacher
Full-time, commencing January 2010
