General Hand/Truck Driver

 

GENERAL HAND/TRUCK DRIVER
Applications are requested for this position with the organisation. It is a full time permanent position for 38 hours per week.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a wide variety of jobs within the organisation such as deliveries, pickups and any other jobs consistent with such a position. Applicants should possess the physical capabilities to fulfil such a job. They must also be prepared to be flexible as the work they will be required to complete will change daily.
Essential criteria:
Current driver's licence & MR licence
Forklift licence
Front end loader ticket
Self starter - motivated
It will be essential that the successful applicant have empathy for people with disabilities and their diverse skills and needs. Progression is available within the structure of the organisation.
Desirable criteria:
Welding certificate
Current HR driver's licence
The person filling this position will be subject to a criminal record check and medical examination in terms of the organisation's policies. Applicants must also include the names and contact details of 2 personal referees for checking purposes.
The wage for the position will be in terms of the Transport Industry (State) Award.
