Speech Pathologist
Speech Pathologist
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a private Paediatric Therapy Team including a Paediatrician, Psychologists, Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist in Taree. Our centre provides services for children and young people with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Delay. We are an accredited Panel Provider with FaHCSIA.
The position is flexible - Full Time or Part Time. The practice is equipped with extensive assessment and therapy resources.
New graduates are welcome to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking initial assessments and developing treatment plans
- Providing individual Speech Therapy support both centre based and out reach
- Implementing communication and language skills training
- Contributing to multi-disciplinary team assessments and reviews
Desirable:
- Experience working with Autism and PDD
Essential criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills
- Previous work or placement experience in Paediatric Speech Pathology
- Eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Current drivers licence and own vehicle
