Job Description: The position is responsible for the implementation of licensing mediation functions and associated projects and activities arising out of the administration of the regulatory provisions of the Water Management Act 2000 in accordance with legislative guidelines/decisions, regulations, policies and plans.

Selection Criteria:
Accredited under the National Mediator Accreditation System or equivalent andr having mediation experience and ability to acquire accreditation. Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder involvement. Demonstrated expertise in project concept, development, implementation and finalisation. High level capacity to manage and foster co-operation in multi-discipline groups to achieve agreed outcomes. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply licensing & environmental legislation. Demonstrated expertise in formulating and progressing resolutions to contentious and involved disputes. Excellent communication, negotiation, facilitation, problem solving and influencing skills.
