Nazareth House Tamworth is a modern, purpose built Catholic Aged Care home with provision for the care of 90 residents in high and low care. This includes a 30 bed dementia specific unit.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, values based professional to join our team to plan and coordinate our continuous quality improvement program and our clinical education, learning and development programs.
If you are a RN or an Endorsed EN with experience in Quality and Clinical Education., preferably but not limited to an Aged Care environment we would like to hear from you. We would expect you to have: Advanced level clinical competencies in the delivery of resident care services in an Aged Care environment. Demonstrated knowledge of current clinical professional issues in residential Aged Care including clinical governance, clinical practice development (including evidence based practice), clinical education and training, contemporary models of care and scope of practice. Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes and tools including working with Cornerstone and/or QPS and undertaking quality audits. Demonstrated competence in residential Aged Care service development and delivery; OH&S and Risk Management. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Health and Aged Care sectors, funding and policy protocols, Aged Care Accreditation and other Aged Care legislation. Experience in working in a consultant role to practitioners in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with great interpersonal skills and high level proactive communication and customer service skills.
