Our client is an Australian subsidiary of an international manufacturer of high quality sealing products and offers an immediate start for an experienced qualified mechanically minded bench fitter machinist.

The majority of your working day will be in the workshop manufacturing/repairing ????? ????? although at other times you will work with the sales team on customer sites, fault finding equipment.

To be successful in the role, mechanical seals experience is critical along with knowledge of fault finding processes, maintaining rotating equipment, removing/repairing/installing rotating equipment, reading drawings, machining to exact sizes and tolerances and use of oxy-acetylene.

You must have the ability to work unsupervised, be a quick learner and  continually produce quality work within tight timeframes. You also need a positive work ethic and  a current driver's license.
